Skills for life money work fun
HFA & ASD Friendly Onsite is an autism-friendly life skills program in Charlotte designed specifically for individuals with High-Functioning Autism (HFA) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Through real-world, hands-on learning and modern technology, students build essential skills to navigate everyday life. This autism life skills training focuses on four key areas critical for independent living and success: communication skills, money management, social skills through humor, and emotional regulation.

Overview
Communication Skills
Students in our autism-friendly program will build essential communication skills for personal and professional success. They will learn to read body language, start conversations, write professional emails, and speak confidently. Our hands-on approach is designed for individuals with High-Functioning Autism (HFA) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Money Management
Students learn practical financial skills by understanding how money systems work, creating realistic budgets, practicing safe online banking, and developing strategies for future planning. This hands-on training helps individuals with HFA and ASD build real-world financial literacy that supports independent living
Humor & Social Skills
Students learn to use humor as a powerful tool for building connections, developing confidence in social interactions, and understanding visual comedy. Through hands-on practice, individuals with HFA and ASD strengthen communication skills and form positive relationships.
Emotional wellbeing
Students explore emotional intelligence by learning to recognize and manage their own emotions, develop stress management techniques, resolve conflicts peacefully, and build personal resilience. This module focuses on practical strategies for maintaining mental and emotional health.
